you won't believe this...

well at least I don't.  I kept getting this pop up that says my dell backup support will expire on June 30, and did I want to pay, whatever.  I kept ignoring it, not thinking it was any big deal.  Well this morning when I got on here everything is gone...all my favorites, websites I visited everyday, bank, email, blog, SU etc. ALL my documents gone.  I hate computers.....
ALL MY PICTURES ARE GONE TOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I may be back later if I can quit crying...this is ridiculous.
Have a good day.

well I'm not totally perfect...just almost...

Actually it was yesterday before I even remembered I hadn't posted this week yet. Mom came Sunday night and stayed till yesterday afternoon.  Monday we made over 50 cards for church and a few extra for her and me. A friend came by with an order and to pick up the cards from class that she missed last week.
Patty came over (my friend and church card helper) she writes in the cards and I made them and address them.
We finished those up just in time for Christmas card night (once a month we get together and work on the years Christmas cards. At least some of us do, I don't of course.) Next thing I know it's 11:30 pm and I off to bed.
Yesterday I took Mom to pick out a washer and dryer, then picked up 3 of my grandsons. I had them till four and after I took them home, I went running around with Eugene, who didn't work yesterday so....
Here I am finally today.  I won't bore you any longer with my busy day today, I'll just post a card .....
I was trying for more, but was having trouble down loading more pics.  I'll try later or tomorrow, which ever one come first.
This is a copy from a swap card I received last year.  I did  it in five different colors.  This one uses the Sweet and Sour DPS retiring tomorrow. It is a four by four card.
Better go now took to long to try to down load pics. I have an appointment at 1:00 today.

still sleepy but...

I am waiting for Fed X to deliver my new cell phone.  And no I didn't get a iPhone, droid, or thunderbolt.  I don't want to pay for the 30 bucks for internet service yet so I just got a regular one.  I probably wouldn't have gotten one yet, but people are having problems hearing me so....I broke down and got one.  I guess I need to quit talking in the bathtub and getting it wet, ya think?

Well I really am going to take more pics today, but I think I have one more I haven't posted yet so.....
This is a very simple fast card that Barbara showed me done in Pretty in Pink.  I also made one in Daffodil Delight but I didn't have enough ribbon to do that one for class.  I did have 2 and 1/2 rolls of Marina Mist and it is going to be retired along with the Pretty in Pink and Daffodil Delight 3/8 taffeta ribbon, which I love, so if you want it better order by June 30, cause after that it will all be gone.
I ( that is my Mom) just embossed Whisper White with the Flower Garden embossing folder, then sponged the flower centers with Marina Mist. Layered it on Marina Mist card stock, tied a matching ribbon around it and layered it on a lager piece of Whisper White.  You could do this with any color and it would be beautiful.
This size fits in a regular envelope, the old fashion letter size that we use to use when writing hand written letters back in the olden days.

Happy Saturday to all of you from the olden and not so olden days, gonna shuffle off now.

internet down again...

Last night I was getting ready to put an order in and the internet was down again.  Last Saturday they came out and put a new box in, evidently that wasn't the problem.. Well at least now if I don't post everyday you won't think it's my fault.....
I have got to take some more pics of my cards.  Today I will be working on finishing up some of the "leftover ones" from this month's class.
I also had my 9 yr old grandson spend the night last night. We didn't go to bed until 12:30 am then back up again before 7, I'm sleepy already....

Well here is a card we did in May. Barbara Parker, one of my very talented down line, made one from dostampin.typepad.com  and showed it to me, I knew most of my girls (stampin class ones) would love it's unusual fold, so we made it in class.
Dawn O. had a video somewhere on her blog on how to make this card, so if you missed it in class, you can check it out there.
Well anyway here is the card.....

Fun card.  We used the Scalloped Oval Big Shot die and Woodgrain stamp for the "tree" and the Owl Punch of course and then the leaf/branch the owl is standing on is from the Bird Punch.

Have a lovely weekend.  I am going to a wedding tomorrow and will post the "custom" made card for the occasion soon.

okay, so now it worked...This is an unfinished card that we are not doing in class this month, next month maybe if I get the sentiment like I want it. I used the daisy die and the big shot, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black along Whisper White.

That's it for tonight, tomorrow's another day...
HS,
Wanda

I think I must be sick...another post, am I good or what?  Okay so its the what....Another night of little sleep, so not me.
Well on to the card...

Well I'll try later, have to get ready for this mornings class.
Back asap.

Wanda

I think it's gonna be one of those days....

Woke up this morning about 3:00 am, went to the bathroom (a nightly routine), back to bed to lay and try to go to sleep, know what I mean? Around 4:00 decided it wasn't happenin' any time soon, so got up. Of course it will hit me around 9 or 10 and yes I am thinking of going back to bed, but the question is, do I have time?

Enough of my old age problems....I do have another busy day, but that's good right? Keeps one from being bored... Tonight start classes for the week and of course I'm not ready, did you think I would be? House is a mess, fortunately for me, my daughter Angie will clean (for cash of course).

Well the card for today is one we are doing tonight with one exception, the base is Whisper White, the next layer is Early Espresso, then Marina Mist, then Whisper White again, that layer of Whisper White was too white so I random stamped images from the Open Sea stamp set that I am using, in Espresso and Marina on there to give a little something.  I don't have time now to take another picture of what it looks like, but I do like it better.  (I'll post it later when ever.)

I made 27 yesterday, 24 for church cards and 3 for samples for tonight. Anyway here's the original.....
I got this idea, at least to combine these stamps together from Karen Barber. Her blog is karenbarber.blogspot.com I think.  Her card uses Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. It is also a bigger size.

Oh and by the way, NEW CATALOGS ARE HERE! You can get one by contacting me or coming to class.

And I didn't have to take my driver test over. I thought I'd have to at least take the written one, but didn't. That was nice, but what wasn't nice was I had to paid an extra $20, yuck.  I also got tags for a truck  and a small flat hauling trailer for my husband, total $180.00. Yikes, I am gonna have to sell lots of stamps or something if this keeps up.

Well back to the stamp mines (as Jan Tink would say.)

HS for now, (yawn)

Happy Monday

Good Morning dear friends, stampers and anyone that has happen to stumble on here... I will look through my pics and see what I want to post today......

Ahhh, here is a lovely card we did at last months class, I did not however design it, Dawn Ol(?) can't remember how to spell her last name, did it.  I thought it was very pretty and simple to make, so we made it in class.  I love the flower set Fabulous Florets, in the Summer Mini catalog and thought it would be the perfect way to use this set.  I love it. I think her blog address is dostampin.typepad.com.

I was going to post another card that we are doing this week in class but thought I would save it for tomorrow, why put all your apples in one barrel?

I must run now. I just discovered Sat evening that my drivers license has been expired 4 months now.
Yikes, I'm illegal!
Better go get that taken care of asap.
Until tomorrow,
HS,
Wanda

what do you know...

Here I am again.
I know the blogs I like to look at most, post everyday or at least almost, unless of course of an emergency, so since I have no emergency today...another post.

This a card we will be doing next week in card class. In case you can't read it, it says, "let's celebrate!".  It can be for the fourth of July or it can be for a July birthday, you can stamp Happy Birthday in the white spot when it is closed.  It a sparkly card. I really like it.  I made it for the monthly swap I'm in but I did it the hard way.  I had so much glitter on me, my husband keep telling to take a shower.  I took two extra showers this month because of this card! Anyway hopefully I will have the glitter down to a minimum for class, or at least provide free showers:0)
I used the red glimmer paper, which I love, instead of hand glittering all the red, much neater and prettier. I wasn't sure if we still sold it since the Occasions Mini catalog ended, so I didn't use it for my swaps, but we do (and I'll tell you a little secret, it will be in the new big catalog! shhhhh, don't tell).

Well that's it for today. I have a routine doctor appointment, Birthday lunch for a friend, then a baby shower to go to for my daughter.  Busy day.

Have a lovely weekend and until next time, tomorrow????
HS, (in case you have forgotten HS means happy stampin')

i can't believe my internet...

it was down all day starting at 5:15am when I first tried to post this!!!
I actually wrote this post yesterday to post today, because I simply had some time. yeah! I currently have my second batch of chocolate chip pumpkin muffins in the oven, it makes about 18 per batch. One of my grandsons has milk and egg allergies so I substitute 2 tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce per egg and it works out great.  I will be also making a triple batch of banana chip muffins next , only 12 per batch it says. No my husband and I don't eat that many but 5 of my little grand babies do....
I ended up with 88 mufins!

This is the ship card I was telling you about yesterday that we made in May's class.

and this is the deer card. It looks so much better in real life. It was also my swap card for Cathy Bell Monthly card swap...

Well even though it is late, I posted 3 days in a row.  Will wonders ever cease?

HS, till tomorrow...will the miracle continue? check back and see..

PS. did I ever tell you how much I love spell check;0)

Told you so.

Here I am, back again to post 2 days in a row. I'm up early an gettin' it done, so if my day changes, I'll at least have posted......
Today in honor of Father's Day, although my dad has been gone 18 yrs. (he died at 57) I thought I'd show  you one of the masculine card we did at May's class.
I wanted to do this card for a swap card, but didn't get my stamp set in time. I actually made about 6 or 8 different designs trying to figure out what I liked best.  Sometimes (most of the time) designing takes a long time for me cause I can't decide what I like best.
So first I'll show you a few I didn't do for various reasons......I'm using the Open Sea stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog and the Nautical Expedition designer paper,

On the top two cards I used Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray and Whisper White card stock, the other differences in the two beside a sentiment, is the different pieces of designer paper. I also used the new Baker's Twine and some Pewter Bards, (that are retiring. get yours fast!) I also cut the anchor out.
For the last card I turned it and used Not Quite Navy instead of Basic Gray. I also used Silver brads on all of the cards.
I thought I took a picture of the card we finally did, but guess I didn't.  I'll have to do that and post it with tomorrows card, another masculine one using the deer from the Nature Silhouette set,
Have a lovely day.
Back at you tomorrow.

Wanda

It's been so longgggggggggggg...............

I can't believe it's been so long that I don't even have my blog address on my computer.
Ok so now finally I'm back.
Babysat today and yesterday.
Missionary service to get ready for tomorrow night, but I did manage to take some pics today.
And I have been stampin even if I haven't been blogging.
Also Prince Charming hasn't been working out of town hardly at all and tonight is no exception.  We go to be usually around 9:30 ish when he is home, so not much free evening time.
Well before beddy bye time I'll post one card. More tomorrow to follow.
My Mom made this card for my niece, she not quite as conservative as some, a few tattoos and piercings if you know what I mean.  She loved this card (notice the safety pins?)
Well just thought I'd give you a laugh.
More sometime tomorrow, not sure what time.
Until then,
HS,
Wanda
