Keepin' up!

Keeping up with a blog is a lot of work. Well at least trying to post new cards and ideas all the time is. My hat's off to all those daily blogger.
Well stamping is suppose to be my/our business, but I think I have too much monkey business thrown in with mine.
It's very hard for me because if I did have a "real" job I couldn't be running here and there doing things, but people/my family are more important to me than money, (did I just say that?:) so I am glad to help when needed.
Having said that, I am sorry to admit that I also have a bad habit of wasting time:( which I am endeavoring to get better at. (wait a minute, not at wasting time, at not wasting time.?.?.)
Anyway in case you care I will be computerless for 3 days, well maybe 2 1/2, so I won't be here for a few.
So take care and HS.

Here another one

Here is another card we made at class this week. I got the idea last Saturday at a Stampin' Up! meeting with Sharon Duveilus( I think I spelled that wrong). It was a lot of fun with lots of ideas.
I changed the paper some because I didn't have the colors she used, but I did have Bella Birds DP and it worked great with that along with pink pirouette and so saffron. The brown taffeta ribbon is suppose to be tied at the top to look like antennas, but the girl who made this one, didn't quite get it. Still is cute, though. We used the big shot the scallop circle die and the beautiful butterfly die.

Tomorrow is another day.

Hopefully I will have more stuff to share.

Almost ready...

Here is another card we are doing in class today. It is almost a total exact case from a card swap my Mom and I are in. The only thing I changed was the background paper from Baja Breeze DP to Walk in the Park DP and the sentiment. (the other one said Easter Wishes)
As much as I love to create some days you just don't have time, so I CASE, which means, copy and steal everything;0)
My day will be very busy. Hope yours is wonderful.

Finally

I had planned on posting earlier, but the first pics I took were too blurry(not that these are much better) and then I misplaced my SD card. I am kind of frantically trying to get every thing half way cleaned and ready for tomorrow morning class.
Barbara Parker (HI BARBARA) designed or cased and modified this card. It will be one of the cards in tomorrows class. Thanks Barbara
HS
I wanted to post. I meant to post, but with babysitting, over night guest, and getting ready for Thursday's card classes, I didn't get to. Tomorrow is another day, or is it already tomorrow. I guess it is. I am planning a card post sometime today.
Check back later.

Hat's off to you.

Well I loaded them in. Maybe I should have just posted them separately. Oh well, here are the hat cards we will be doing at my classes on Thurs. I used the Walk in the Park designer paper.
For the pink one I uses Regal Rose instead of Cameo Coral, I thought it matched better for this sheet of paper. Some of the other paper in this pack the Cameo Coral does match better.
I just cut out coordinating card stock and scored it down about 1/2", then glue the tops together.
This will not fit our normal envelope. (maybe I should shrink it down to that size)
Any way my very talented friend, Barbara Parker made this pattern for me and if you don't want to figure one out for yourself, just send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I'll send you the pattern. (free of course).
Have a lovely day tomorrow and HS (happy stamping)!

Whoops

I should have said a pic. I thought I was posting a couple more, but didn't, and I also used the 1/2 circle punch for the center of the flowers. If you want more information, just ask. I don't even know if anyone is looking on this site, except maybe one.
HS(happy stamping) i'm lazy and don't want to write it all out;0)

Some pic from the up coming card class next week

This my take on the flower pot card so many are posting. All the flowers are cut out with different big shot dies. My pictures still aren't clear enough for me. My daughter says it's not the camera, it's me. Humph!

This is the other swap card I made. I used Versa Mark on Stampin' Up! Glossy paper (the best), then brayered Brilliant Blue ink over it. Layered Basic Gray, Glossy, Going Gray. Cut brayer paper into strips and mounted them on the Going Gray. The little stars and sentiment have chunky silver glitter on them using a mini glue dot and a star was cut out of sticky paper and put on the large star.

This is one of the cards I made for a monthly swap I am in. I really like it in real life.
I just love the Walk in the Park DP paper, I only wish there were more than two sheets of this one. You can get 12 cards out of one sheet though. I would like to do this for my class and another swap I am doing on Sat.

I finally made my swap card

I finally finished my swap cards. Now I am making mom's. She isn't able too right now. I tried to get a good picture of mine, but it didn't work... I think I know what went wrong. Will try to get it posted sometime tonight.

Trust your Easter was wonderful.

Nuthin' New Today

Sorry, I didn't make anything at Debbie's today. She made a couple of things, but I just was too tired, I guess. Hopefully sometime tomorrow, because Mom and I are in a swap and she can't do hers, so I have to do them both ASAP.
Working on a friend's graduation announcements tonight.
Later

CARDZILLA!!!! AHHHHHH!!!

My short night sleep was interspersed with nightmares of giant pink cards with chicks and eggs appearing randomly in my dreams. Go figure. Little did I know this would take such predominance in my feeble brain. I shall be busy most of the day. Hopefully I can post some fun stuff from my and Debbie H's play day this afternoon.
slfn (so long for now) who said that? was it Winnie the Pooh or who?
