I am soooo sleepy...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I don't know what's wrong with me, I can't stay awake.  I fall asleep stamping, on the computer, reading, just about anything anywhere.  I finally got my swap card made and mailed 2 days late...
I have also been very busy with life stuff too.  We are fixing to go get a new washer.  My died about 2 weeks ago.  It was 13yrs old and served us very well. But you didn't come here to hear my sad stories but to see a card.

This is called a magic color appearing card or something like that.  First you see the picture in black and white then.........

Then wahlah, the color appears when you pull up on it. Like magic.

There it is a little closer up...

Well I have to go now.  Hubby is home and we are going out to get a new washer....

Have a lovely weekend.

I remember as I was eating a late breakfast (i am so not a morning person) the name of the 'Bone' punch, it is the Modern Label punch.  It does look like a bone kinda, don't you think?

Happy Monday

Today starts another fresh week....and I am already racing through it.  Today I will work on church cards, go to the bank, post office and pharmacy.  Tonight I have a friend coming over with her son to work on a science fair project and then it is Virtual/Reality Christmas card stamp night.   And no, I still haven't started my Christmas Cards yet:0)
Although Easter has passed, here is a card we did using the Chocolate bunny stamp.  I love that stamp, it's so cute.  It also reminds me of a Veggie Tale song about The bunny, the bunny, woo I ate the ears off the bunny...something like that, my kids and grandkids tell me I sing it wrong all the time....Well anyway I use some of the Speciality Designer Paper called Sending Love,  on every sheet one side had GLITTER..ooohhh it is so pretty. (you can only get it through the end of April so order soon if you need it!)  The other thing we did that was fun was the faux ribbon braiding very easy.   We used Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip  card stock.  Lots of punches the new Corner Trim Scallop, Scallop Trim,  Ticket Corner, (i can't remember it's real name and my book is in the kitchen, i only remember it as the bone punch??)the "Bone", and the Word Window.  (we do have knick name for some stuff, i can't believe, i can't remember, i guess it's a senior monent.)

Well before I forget my name, I'll sign off.  Hope you week goes well for you.

A card from our March class

Here's a card using the big shot and the bird punch.  We did this card in March.  It is using Kraft paper and Brocade Blue a long with the Bella Blue designer paper.  The Brocade Blue will be one of the retiring colors this June.  The Kraft will be name changed to Crumb Cake.
I use the lg oval punch and the oval scallop punch.  The leaves are made with the wing from the bird punch.

If you have any questions, just ask.

hey, i'm back again..

Here's a grad card I did for a swap I am in last month.   You can't see it very well but I used the groom speciality paper for the front flap fold.  The other color besides Basic Black is Kraft. I embossed the monkey with black EP (embossing powder) on White Confetti card stock.  I love the sock monkey. I lightly colored him with watercolor wonder crayons and used a blender pen.

We may make this at class next month.  I haven't decided for sure, but I have decided on class dates:
May 18th Tues at 6:30 pm; May 19th Wed at 9:30am; May 20th Thurs 10:00am and 6:30pm.  No Saturday classes this month cause of Graduations and Weddings.

Please RSVP if you would like to attend one of these classes next month.
Hope to see you there and as always..

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!

It has been 3 months since I last blogged.  Well I am back now and Rachel helped me figure some stuff out, so here are a few pictures..... I am going to have to figure out how to get the pictures below.

The card on the bottom is the one we did in class this month.  We figured it out about 2 hours or less before class started.  We used pretty in pink and close to cocoa paper.  The close to cocoa is one of the retiring colors. (more about that later).  I uses Designer paper from the Sweet Pea pack and embossed the background with the final press.  We added old olive ribbon and pretty in pink cordury buttons.

The top card is what I made with some of the left over stuff, not bad.

I am currently babysitting 2 cute kids, that think they are hungery, so that all for now.

I'll post class schedules and more pics. later.

HS for now,
Wanda
