I don't know what's going on

Crazy, I got on my blog and nothing. I wrote that about you've got to be kidding and puff, there it is. Okay this is weird. I am sure it's not the blogspot, it me. Go figure.
Have a wonderful holiday.
Wanda

You have got to be kidding

I just spent I don't know how much time, down loading pictures of card, writing ingredients and every thing and it's not here.
I am so not happy. Hope you are.
Check back Monday and hopefully I'll will have recovered enought to do it again:0(

Card Class Samples of Polished Stone

You won't or I don't believe what just happened. I just finished typing this longggggggggggggggggg post and when I went to look up the name of a stamp set, I LOST ALL MY HARD WORK!!!!! rats.........

So as brief as I can I will list the supplies for the cards.
Ink: Silver metallic, Brocade Blue, Bordering Blue and Night of Navy classic reinkers.
Stamp pads: Stazon black and Basic Black classic ink
Paper: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Whisper White (for the greeting) and Glossy white.
Stamps: flowers-Garden Greetings, words- Upsy Daisy

Stamps: butterfly- God's Beauty, grass- Inspired by Nature
Reinkers: metallic- gold, classic- Ruby Red, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie
Stamp pads: Stazon black
Paper: Ruby Red, Basic Black and Glossy white

This card uses the metallic gold reinker along with Almost Amethyst, Lovely Lilac, and Elegant Eggplant classic reinkers. Stamp sets are Close As a Memory and Oval All, they are stamped in Versa mark ind and embossed with gold embossing powder. Papers used are Lavender Lace and Elegant Eggplant and Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon. The punch used is the new oval scalloped that works great with the Oval All stamp set.

Here are some of the cards that we made at class this pass week. It was really hard to get good pics of them because they are on really glossy paper and the light reflects really bad.

I have two other ones, that were so bad I didn't even try to use them. I'll try to get better pictures of them later.

For this card we used gold metallic reinker and Lovely Lilac, Tempting Turquoise, and Green Galore classic reinkers. Usually we use just two drops of each color (except not the gold) however I would suggest 3 drops of the Lovely Lilac for this card. The flourish from the stamp set Baroque Motifs was stamped on the polished stone background with black stazon ink (be careful it's slickery). Lovely Lilac and Basic Black paper was used.
I wrote this last post first then when went up from there. That is one reason this post may seem a little screwy. The other reason of coarse was because I didn't save some of this when I left the page.
If you have any questions about the Polished Stone technique, don't hesitate to ask. I hope to start making videos soon, but don't hold your breath. And speaking of breath don't forget to use 91% alcohol when doing polish stone. My alcohol is almost gone, I just have a few drops left:0)
(you had to be there;0)
Till next time Happy Stampin' (not drinkin';)

Am I bad

Sorry I haven't been posting. Had a crazy week last week. Sometimes I wonder if I should try.
With my family it always seems like something is going on, but probably that is the way it is with every one's fam. So I guess we just keep on keeping on.
My house is a mess and class project aren't hardly started, so since class is tomorrow night at 6:30, I guess I'd better get off this computer and get busy.

Finally a Rose.

My batteries were dead. Here is the watercolor rose or reinker resist technique. It's not hard, but kind of scary. You are not sure what your flower will look like, but they turn out very nice.
This is a card for a monthly swap I am in. I do want to do this technique at class next week too.
It takes awhile to dry, so we'll have to see.
I tried to take a picture of my beautiful watercolor roses and the batteries are dead. At least I hope they are and not my camera. I have them on charge and hope to have a picture as soon as they are charged up.
I am still not feeling up to my rotten self. Hopefully I can feel better soon.
HS for now.

Here's a card Mom made for her swap this month. It is not one that I am planning on doing for a
class, though. It uses Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip card stock and Manchester DP. In fact all the Designer Paper is on sale this month for National Scrapbooking Month. Buy 3 get one FREE. Great time to stock up.
Still a little tired.

I'm back..............sort of.

I can't believe it has been so long since I've been able to post or worst yet, stamp. I still have stamped in over a week. I have been really sick. Oh well, Mom is here and plans on being productive tomorrow, so maybe I can at least show you some of her stuff.
