another early morning.....

awake at 12:30 am, then after not going back to sleep out of bed at 1:20 am. 

Weird, but no headache.  I do have a few other aches however, almost 2 hours of water exercise bout done me in.  It didn't bother me at the time, but I couldn't hardly walk the rest of the day.  Took some Ibuprofen to go to sleep, too bad I didn't sleep long.

Not sure if I'll try going back today or not.  Mom wants to, but don't know if I can do it...well enough about all my aches and pains and now for the fun stuff....

Hey wait a minute, that not a card, it's Vashti Cramer, my non related favorite daughter (at least that's what my girls say) on her pre unsurprised birthday party at my house on MLK day...

i have a headache.....

and feeling a little down at 3:30am, that's when I got up. 
Oh well lets move on...

I really do enjoy it when people post on their blogs everyday...so one day I might do that.
But not anytime in the near future as we are waiting for the arrival of our 8th grandchild,
and I will be on babysitting duty 24/7 for a few days.   Rachel is already 2 days late, but she usually is about 10 to 12 days late, soooo.....we are just waiting.

I am going to be working on cards today for Christmas Card Night tomorrow night.  We usually have it the last Monday of the month, but do to a recent passing of a dear friend, we will have it tomorrow night instead.

Here is another couple of cards from January class....

This is a new stamp set from the mini catalog called Henry Says.  It has valentines, birthday, Christmas, congratulations....all kinds of fun stuff in it.  I also used a stamp from the set Beyond Plaid to put pattern on these Henrys.

Rhonda K came over one Saturday several weeks ago and we started working on this card..I finally finished it in time for classes.

Well it's now 5 am and the dishwasher is loaded and running and I am ready to put a load of clothes in the dryer....my headache isn't quite as intense and it a new day...

I came back....

After trying typepad for a few days, I found it no easier to use than blogspot, in fact I found it harder..so I came back..I shall put up with this for now until I get tech smarter...

I will post previous cards that I had posted on typepad and I will spent my time trying to figure this out and keep looking for help.

In the mean time, on the post below this is a video from Frenchie on how to use the new Borders Scoring Plate.

I used Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple card stock and markers...I really like the lacy Dollies.  They are only 4 ins in diameter and fit really nicely on a card..and they are only $2.95 for 24. 

 

I would be happy to post more directions, if anyone cares..let me know...

 

These two cards are here all because of my Mom, she liked this set ( I didn't think it was that great) so I got it for her and I sure am glad I did.  I have seen some really neat cards made with this one and everyone loved this one that we made in class.  I cased this idea from Sandi MacIver over at sandimaciver.com....

I am back and going to try this again...

Ok still not working. I have just about had it with blogspot...I know it's free...I know lots of people use it way better than I do, but for a non computer savvy person like me, it stinks..

So having said all that it was nice while it lasted.  I will now persue other avenues.  I will try to remedy this soon..

okay, okay, I'm finally back..

and rearing to go..sort of.

We'll I finally took the plunge and came back to blogging, and although I have been silent here, I haven't been silent any where else.

I'm am currently getting ready for classes next week, picking up Ethan so he can spend the night tonight.  Then baby sitting tomorrow all day with all 4 of Rachel's babies. 

I went swimming or water exercising today at the Y and yesterday.

I have a few cards to show you today and more hopefully tomorrow or Thursday.

Barbara P came over and helped me with a whale card that we will be doing in class, last Friday.
And Saturday Rhonda came of and helped me with an elephant card that I will also be doing in classes next week. Mom came over yesterday afternoon and cut all the waves for the Whale card out with the big shot, Thanks Mom! and Barbara and Rhonda! How could I do what I do, without these great girls!

I am using lots of new stuff from the new Spring Catalog...no pictures of them today, but like I said, hopefully soon.

Well here's a few things.....okay here are not a few things..Evidently since I have been on here, things have changed and I can't down a pic here...hold on, I'll try again....

Ok no pictures today, I swear, if I swore, I am going to go with a different blog host...I shall try again soon.
