happy friday...

at least it will be if I can publish this post with out deleting anything:0)

Busy, busy week, swimming, stamping and a viewing tonight, plus another class tomorrow.

Barbara P has been busy this week and shared some of her creativity with me, so I will in turn share with you.
This is a card originally from Connie Babbert....It's a very pretty card, which I may change up a bit...we'll see...
The colors are Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango.

This card features a quick bow we are learning how to make in class this week.  I will be posting a picture on how to make this next week.
The colors here are Perfect Plum and Whisper White..

Thanks so much Barbara for sharing your work with us!

Well must be off, places to go, people to see and things to do.

Trust you all have a great weekend.

HS,
Wanda

waaaaaaaaaaaaaah...

I just deleted my post I had almost finished writing...I almost don't even feel like posting now....however I will for all my adoring fans....:0)

I'm not even going to tell you what I already said, just show you a card we did in class last month..
The color doesn't show up too much, but it is Pool Party...I really liked this card...

Cancelled class last night because we had no electricity after a storm blew through last evening.  Power was off for about 4 hours... Gail and her sister in law, Karen, came anyway.  We did okay until about 8:45, things started getting a little harder to see and of course just when we were finishing up at 9:00 the lights came back on....

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGH... just deleted some more stuff!

I am signing off now before I do anymore damage....

Have a lovely week..

nothing clever comes to mind but....

I do want thank the anonymous person who left a comment the other day....Thank you so much! No one ever does and sometimes I feel like I talk to no one...

I have a card to show you today that we weren't going to do, but after some thought I decided to do it at class this month.

This is the first one I made.  I tried to save ribbon and since this ribbon is stretchy I pulled it and taped it down, but it came loosed after it set over night, so I will cut it regular size.
I stamped it on Crumb Cake paper with White Craft ink, then colored it with an Aqua Pen and reinkers...Strawberry Slush, Gumball Green, and Crush Curry.
The flower in the right corner was to cover a mistake.

On this one, I put the flower on the ribbon.  It's not as bulky and will mail easier.

This one I did in Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant and added a Crumb Cake ribbon bow.
I also added some Dazzling Details to the center of the flowers to add a little pizazz. It doesn't show up here.

I have lost 30lbs so far. It's kind of slow going, but I will keep trying.

Have a lovely week and HS.

i live in a world of dreams......

I dream of posting almost everyday...
I dream of having a wonderful blog and knowing what I am doing...
I dream of making a never ending supply of awesome cards to show..
I dream of sending out cards to everyone I think needs ones....
I dream....the list is too long, but I do dream...

Well time to wake up and get on with the real world.

I didn't realize I have so many cards I haven't taken pictures of or even posted...I do have a special card I made yesterday, but I can't post it yet, but here are some I can.

Here's a card Barbara P made using one of the special ' Best of 25 Years' stamp sets.  It's called Brides and Babies (in that order, in case you wondered:0).  We will be making a card really similar to this in class this month.

This a card we made in May's class using a fun new (seems new away) technique called, I forgot.  Anyway you color in white craft ink and "paint" over it using re inkers and an aqua painter or blender pen.  I got this idea from Sandi McIver who got it from someone else.

Well no 4th of July cards to show, but happy Independence Day tomorrow.  And a Happy Birthday today to Debbie Heffernan, who turned 29 again;0).

Have a lovely holiday weekend and be safe.

HS till next time,
Wanda
