it's time to get busy.

I have good intentions for today, but not sure right now which direction they will take.  I may or may not have one or two little boys today.....Of course that will determined how much I get done....maybe.

I almost thought we were getting a "new" car/van yesterday, but right now it doesn't look like it.

Let's move on, shall we? 

I am trying to decide on class days next month....I have a ladies' tea Monday night the 14th and my grand daughter  Alana' s graduation is on Thur night the 17th, a baby shower in Mt Vernon, OH on Sun afternoon, the 20th.  I really wanted to have a class that week...should I cram it in?????

Well while I labor with that, let's look at a card....

This is another card I received in a swap.. I uses the Label sizlet dies available until the end of this month.  I do think they will be in the new catalog, but you never know for sure...

i was disqualified in the first round....

I think the cards won....

I did bake 3 dozen cupcakes but,  broke my mixer, lost the taste challenge for the peach cupcake, one batch was over cooked...I'm going home....

Well I got that out of my system and all the cupcakes are gone, (sent them home to all my grand babies and their moms and dads) and I am about ready to start stamping again.

Since my vacation and since I have been helping Rachel a lot, I just haven't gotten back into the grove of stamping again.  I am hoping that will soon change. 

Monday night will be our Christmas card night get together so we'll see what happens then.  I am suppose to have classes next month so I hope my stamping mojo gets back soon.

Here is a card I received in a swap.  It uses Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush.  The Concord Crush will be retiring at the end of May, so get now while you can. 
This card is really glittery but you can't tell it here.

too much cupcake wars on youtube...

all I want to do right now is make cupcakes....not cards...can you believe it?  Of course you know cupcakes taste so much better than paper, however paper has a lot more fiber and fewer calories....

Hummm,who will win...I guess in reality I am having my own war...paper vs. cake....

This card was made by Sheri Arnold.  She been stamping with me for almost 13years.  She is a great artist.  She used some retired SU sea shell stamps n stuff..A very beautiful card.

before I die, I want to learn how to use a computer better....not that I am planning on dying any time soon but....

Needless to say I am not feeling in a very chipper mood right now, but it will get better I'm sure...

This is a really cute card I got in a swap...the color however in the picture is terrible..I think I will have to retake this one...it is really cute in real life...

This is Zeb's Easter card, his favorite color is purple..last night when Rachel (his mom) asked him if he wanted some chicken fingers for supper, he said, "Yes and some chicken toes too."  He's so silly and 3years old.

Well I guess I will be chicking out (get checking out) now.  More another day.

but as you can see, I didn't...

Been kind of a lazy week so far.  I did make, well almost made and finish 32 cards.  But the are all the same design and I can't finish them until I get a new stamp set that is coming tomorrow. Yea!

Here a little something for now...

I didn't make this card, but I do have this stamp set and want to use it soon.  I might have a masculine card class in June.

These were Scott and Grant's Easter cards.  Scott's is yellow and orange and Grant's two favorite colors are green and red.  Grant's kind of reminded me of a tomato..but he liked it.

Tomorrow one of my best friends are coming over to stamp with me...I can't wait...(hi Barbara).

Time to start posting some of the cards I got in a swap....

This is a card that would also be good for a Father's Day card.  I took the pictures in a hurry.  One day I need to slow down so the photograph better..  This card base is Crumb Cake. 

These are my grand daughter's Easter cards.. Lea's is the pink and green one, she is 11 months old.  Alana's is the pink and purple one, her favorite colors.  I had a pink polka dotted bow on her finished one.  Notice the purple toes...don't know if they are shoes or toe nails.. (do chicken have toes?)

Well anyway she loved it and that's what counts.

The retirement list is out and as soon as I figure how to post it I will.

hears the real story...

as to why I haven't posted in so long...We went on vacation from Mar. 28 to April 9...I didn't tell anyone on my blog so you wouldn't come over and rob me while I was gone....

I actually had wonderful plans to post while I was gone, even took some pictures of cards, so you wouldn't even know I wasn't here.  Plan to do a little "pre posting".... well it didn't work out.   I was only able to get on the internet one short time the whole time I was gone....so no posting..
plus I didn't get the pictures down loaded on my computer..sad but true.

When we got home Monday night, we had dead fish (in the aquarium), no electric, and busted cement in our driveway and ditch., so Monday night was spent in the camper at home, not in the Smokys.

I spent most of Tues. in the camper with no electricity. Around 4:00 pm it was turned back on and around 5:30 Jonathan picked me up to spend the night with them so I could borrow their van to go to the doctors on Wed.  Home Wed afternoon, Thursday house appraisal, and babysitting.

Eugene went to Arkansas on Tues. my camera is still in his truck.....

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Haven't stamped yet since I've been back, but when I get my camera back I do have some swap pictures to show you.

We had a great time, but I love my bed, bathtub and toilet.
