wild wedding card...

yeah I know I usually don't post on Saturdays but i just finished this and thought I do a quick post before I got ready to go to a wedding in about an hour and five minutes...whoops better hurry have to leave soon.,,

I had a card planned and made to use today, in fact I pacifically designed it (copied it) for card class too this month.  You know multi purpose, but...
My adorable daughter in law came on Tuesday to help me get ready and said, can I make one of those cards for the wedding?  !!!!!!

Or course I told her yes and had to re think another card soooo....

Woo, quite a different, hey?  Alicia (daughter in law) said her colors were a royal blue, yellow and orange...Since we don't have Brilliant Blue any more, I used Pacific Point.  The other colors were Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.

i just forgot.....

i had about 2 or 3 titles that I had thought about for this post and just forgot it all....hummm, surely not old age...

Well what I am posting today is a card made by Mom for my sister's son in law, who raises show pigs as a hobby...or for extra money or something like that.  He paid his way through college that way...humm again maybe that's away for us to raise extra cash.....just a thought.

Okay enough digression...Mom stayed with them for several months a couple of years ago and she is not impressed with the pig idea but....

She made him a special pigday, I mean dirtday, I mean birthday card.....Here it is without buttons then...
Whoops I forgot to download off my camera the picture with the buttons, much cuter but I have a long day ahead and don't know if I'll have time to get back here....

But until I do stay out of the mud and have a lovely Monday...

greetings creatures great and small....

an early morning for me today...try like 3:30 am.   I did try and make myself go back to sleep, but after an hour....I'm out of there.

So what did I do at 4:30 am you might wonder......well I printed out quite a few pages of mini crochet doll patterns, for you see that's what in store for today.  Mom and I are going to my friend, Sally's house to try to learn how to read doll patterns and crochet some dolls.

Of course Mom will be making more than me because I HAVE TO STAMP!  Classes are next week, plus I am having a Stampin Up yard sale at my house Saturday,

I did however work most of the day yesterday on class cards.  We have 4 techniques we will be doing and 3 of them are brand new!

I couldn't finish one of the card because I am waiting on an order that should get here today, but I will be at Sally's crocheting....the other problem is I have to go to a viewing of a dear lady tonight

I also have to make a seven layer salad for the dinner tomorrow and then go babysit for Rachel to go to the doctors, so no time between now and then to finish class stuff...but the good news is I am almost done, at least I know what I am doing.

Well time for a card, let's see what I have.....

I don't know if you can see this very well...Barbara P, (thanks Barb) made this card and shared it with me.  We will actually be doing a version of this card next month in class (i think). 

When you open it the picture slides back to reveal a message.  It's really cool.  She used wisteria wonder card stock and ink for the main color on this card. 

I would love to film a video on how to make this and post it.  I am slowly working toward the goal of making videos and putting them on here.....

trying to wake up....

new week, new day....lots to do, now just where to start.

Having a Stampin' Up! yard sale in my house this Saturday.  Need to get rid of stuff.

Here's a cute card Barbara P made.  It has a bird stamped in the cage, but it's really light.  When she makes this card again she will stamp it in a darker color. 

I'm really not awake enough to say much right now.  Maybe next time I post I'll feel more like talking.

I just remembered...New catalog starts today and I am going to order......
Just woke me up....

not feeling witty this morning...

so I can't think of anything catchy or clever...kind of sleepy still...so how about just some cards.

These are the cards I made for church cards this week..The first one uses the new in color Primrose Pink, the second one new in color Midnight Muse, the third Summer Starfruit and the 4th Gumball Green.  They all of course use the same stamp set Betsy's Blossoms.

I couldn't decide if I liked this card or not, but it's ok...not one that I will be doing in class this month.

Speaking of class this month I am working on something cool called Faux Patina...Barbara P is also coming over today to play, can't wait.
