it's een so long, i couldn't even remember my password....

I know, I know, it's terrible.... I have been home since Aug. 20th, then started it right in to getting ready for class...so on and so forth.

I have been busy since then and have made lots and lots of cards, over fifteen different designs, I don't even know how many actual cards, but I haven't posted any.....just shot me now...

Okay enough apologies and remorse, it's time for a card.

This is a special card I made for a dear long time friends' second grand baby in 13 years! and first girl!

Can you guess the theme and color?

I used Melon Mambo(pink) and Pumpkin Pie, Early Expresso, and of course Whisper White card stock and the Owl Punch for the owl and retired designer paper and ribbon for the accents.. and the new framelit swing card template for the base.
I think it turned out pretty.  Hello baby and congratulations are from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Congratulations Mark and Jennifer!

Well Mom is up, Eugene is up and my peace and quite for now has been disturbed...(it also hard to write when people are talking to you.)

So bye for now...tomorrow's another day...

i did wake up in a good mood....

until I got on the scale.....blahhhhh!

Well enough of that.   I planned on posting yesterday, but got busy and forgot until it was too late, and I had to leave.. but here I am today for a few minutes.
This one is in the plans for class this month...I am waiting on the Tape It stamp set, which will be here some time tomorrow. I already have the Flower Shop stamp set and the matching Pansy Punch. (I don't know why they call it Pansy, they don't look like pansies to me.....)
Barbara P made this sample for me..and...
She made this one too...She used Sahara Sand and Elegant Eggplant card stock and ink for this one.
Also the new Cross single stamp and the retired Praying Hands, along with  a large pearl and the label punch and God is Love stamp set. What would I do without her?

Well another day is calling, not a stamping day however..I am sewing most of the day today and not creating but adjusting..I'd much rather make something from the beginning than try to fix what is already done, but my daughter Angie thinks I can do anything....and I almost always can.  It helps that she is not very picky..

Well have a lovely day...

HS till next time.

quick punch art bow

I got this idea from Barbara P, who found it on thestampcamp.com.. I totally copied the idea, which I thought was great..fast and easy. I passed out some of these copies at class last month, if you didn't get one and want one, just let me know. The picture isn't the greatest.....

Very fast and easy and you can just change up colors to make a variety .  The top two use the Mosaic Madness DPS and the bottom one uses scraps from the Winter Frost paper pack.

Well I shall be off for now.

suprise...

I'm writing this post at night and not in the early morning....

I was suppose to work on class cards this afternoon, but.....

Instead I made church cards...I really like these and may use them for class some time....

They were very fast and easy.

I, of course couldn't decide exactly how I liked them best.  Mounted on Crumb Cake, or with or without a bow.  I used Crumb Cake, Black Stazon and Soft Sky ink, Whisper White card stock and Crumb Cake card stock on 2.  I have been wanting to use some of the new Washi Tape and so I did.

I got this idea from some where on the internet.  Not exactly but close. Oh and the Stamp Set I used was Summer Silhouettes.

Well I did actually down load some more pictures which I plan on sharing tomorrow..,,

Until then HS..

happy friday...

at least it will be if I can publish this post with out deleting anything:0)

Busy, busy week, swimming, stamping and a viewing tonight, plus another class tomorrow.

Barbara P has been busy this week and shared some of her creativity with me, so I will in turn share with you.
This is a card originally from Connie Babbert....It's a very pretty card, which I may change up a bit...we'll see...
The colors are Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango.

This card features a quick bow we are learning how to make in class this week.  I will be posting a picture on how to make this next week.
The colors here are Perfect Plum and Whisper White..

Thanks so much Barbara for sharing your work with us!

Well must be off, places to go, people to see and things to do.

Trust you all have a great weekend.

Wanda

waaaaaaaaaaaaaah...

I just deleted my post I had almost finished writing...I almost don't even feel like posting now....however I will for all my adoring fans....:0)

I'm not even going to tell you what I already said, just show you a card we did in class last month..
The color doesn't show up too much, but it is Pool Party...I really liked this card...

Cancelled class last night because we had no electricity after a storm blew through last evening.  Power was off for about 4 hours... Gail and her sister in law, Karen, came anyway.  We did okay until about 8:45, things started getting a little harder to see and of course just when we were finishing up at 9:00 the lights came back on....

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGH... just deleted some more stuff!

I am signing off now before I do anymore damage....

Have a lovely week..

nothing clever comes to mind but....

I do want thank the anonymous person who left a comment the other day....Thank you so much! No one ever does and sometimes I feel like I talk to no one...

I have a card to show you today that we weren't going to do, but after some thought I decided to do it at class this month.

This is the first one I made.  I tried to save ribbon and since this ribbon is stretchy I pulled it and taped it down, but it came loosed after it set over night, so I will cut it regular size.
I stamped it on Crumb Cake paper with White Craft ink, then colored it with an Aqua Pen and reinkers...Strawberry Slush, Gumball Green, and Crush Curry.
The flower in the right corner was to cover a mistake.

On this one, I put the flower on the ribbon.  It's not as bulky and will mail easier.

This one I did in Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant and added a Crumb Cake ribbon bow.
I also added some Dazzling Details to the center of the flowers to add a little pizazz. It doesn't show up here.

I have lost 30lbs so far. It's kind of slow going, but I will keep trying.

Have a lovely week and HS.
