my catchy title...so I'll just move on...
We got back from Tenn. about 9:30 Sunday night...what a trip. I forgot my c pap machine, so not much sleep at all Saturday night, then Sunday morning as I was getting dressed for church I realize I had packed 2 different black shoes.....was able to borrow some from Paul's mother in law....that was just a few things...we packed a lot of crazy stuff in that less than two day trip.
Well we are gearing up for the finally details of Stampfest...
Tomorrow is Barbara Parker's surgery, say a prayer for her if you think of it.
Now here is another card we are doing at Stampfest....
It a hidden message card. It can be made as a Birthday card or Christmas card, depending on the wording. We made it a Birthday card here.
I understand they showed how to do this card at Stampin Up's Convention this year (which I of course did not attend..), but Jan Tink made a video and I got the measurements from her. Thank You, Jan! I did change up the colors and papers, and it works!
Well I have another really busy day today which started at 3:30am and won't end until about 10:00pm..so back to the stamp mines, then swimming, then stamping, then church........
May not post any more this week until after Stampfest, but I'll try.
Until next time, HS,
Wanda

His name is Kyle Scott McIntyre....that makes me 7 boys and 2 girls....and Happy, Happy, Happy..:0).

Well if you can bear.........
with me, I'll be back soon...
Until then Happy Stampin'

it's een so long, i couldn't even remember my password....
I know, I know, it's terrible.... I have been home since Aug. 20th, then started it right in to getting ready for class...so on and so forth.
I have been busy since then and have made lots and lots of cards, over fifteen different designs, I don't even know how many actual cards, but I haven't posted any.....just shot me now...
Okay enough apologies and remorse, it's time for a card.
This is a special card I made for a dear long time friends' second grand baby in 13 years! and first girl!
Can you guess the theme and color?
I used Melon Mambo(pink) and Pumpkin Pie, Early Expresso, and of course Whisper White card stock and the Owl Punch for the owl and retired designer paper and ribbon for the accents.. and the new framelit swing card template for the base.
I think it turned out pretty. Hello baby and congratulations are from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
Congratulations Mark and Jennifer!
Well Mom is up, Eugene is up and my peace and quite for now has been disturbed...(it also hard to write when people are talking to you.)
So bye for now...tomorrow's another day...
HS,
Wanda

i did wake up in a good mood....
until I got on the scale.....blahhhhh!
Well enough of that. I planned on posting yesterday, but got busy and forgot until it was too late, and I had to leave.. but here I am today for a few minutes.
This one is in the plans for class this month...I am waiting on the Tape It stamp set, which will be here some time tomorrow. I already have the Flower Shop stamp set and the matching Pansy Punch. (I don't know why they call it Pansy, they don't look like pansies to me.....)
Barbara P made this sample for me..and...
She made this one too...She used Sahara Sand and Elegant Eggplant card stock and ink for this one.
Also the new Cross single stamp and the retired Praying Hands, along with a large pearl and the label punch and God is Love stamp set. What would I do without her?
Well another day is calling, not a stamping day however..I am sewing most of the day today and not creating but adjusting..I'd much rather make something from the beginning than try to fix what is already done, but my daughter Angie thinks I can do anything....and I almost always can. It helps that she is not very picky..
Well have a lovely day...
HS till next time.

quick punch art bow
I got this idea from Barbara P, who found it on thestampcamp.com.. I totally copied the idea, which I thought was great..fast and easy. I passed out some of these copies at class last month, if you didn't get one and want one, just let me know. The picture isn't the greatest.....
Very fast and easy and you can just change up colors to make a variety . The top two use the Mosaic Madness DPS and the bottom one uses scraps from the Winter Frost paper pack.
Well I shall be off for now.
HS,
Wanda

suprise...
I'm writing this post at night and not in the early morning....
I was suppose to work on class cards this afternoon, but.....
Instead I made church cards...I really like these and may use them for class some time....
They were very fast and easy.
Until then HS..

I, of course couldn't decide exactly how I liked them best. Mounted on Crumb Cake, or with or without a bow. I used Crumb Cake, Black Stazon and Soft Sky ink, Whisper White card stock and Crumb Cake card stock on 2. I have been wanting to use some of the new Washi Tape and so I did.
I got this idea from some where on the internet. Not exactly but close. Oh and the Stamp Set I used was Summer Silhouettes.
Well I did actually down load some more pictures which I plan on sharing tomorrow..,,

happy friday...
at least it will be if I can publish this post with out deleting anything:0)
Busy, busy week, swimming, stamping and a viewing tonight, plus another class tomorrow.
Barbara P has been busy this week and shared some of her creativity with me, so I will in turn share with you.
This is a card originally from Connie Babbert....It's a very pretty card, which I may change up a bit...we'll see...

The colors are Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango.
This card features a quick bow we are learning how to make in class this week. I will be posting a picture on how to make this next week.
The colors here are Perfect Plum and Whisper White..
Thanks so much Barbara for sharing your work with us!
Well must be off, places to go, people to see and things to do.
Trust you all have a great weekend.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaah...
I just deleted my post I had almost finished writing...I almost don't even feel like posting now....however I will for all my adoring fans....:0)
I'm not even going to tell you what I already said, just show you a card we did in class last month..
The color doesn't show up too much, but it is Pool Party...I really liked this card...
Cancelled class last night because we had no electricity after a storm blew through last evening. Power was off for about 4 hours... Gail and her sister in law, Karen, came anyway. We did okay until about 8:45, things started getting a little harder to see and of course just when we were finishing up at 9:00 the lights came back on....
ARGGGGGGGGGGGGH... just deleted some more stuff!
I am signing off now before I do anymore damage....
Have a lovely week..

nothing clever comes to mind but....
I do want thank the anonymous person who left a comment the other day....Thank you so much! No one ever does and sometimes I feel like I talk to no one...
I have a card to show you today that we weren't going to do, but after some thought I decided to do it at class this month.
This is the first one I made. I tried to save ribbon and since this ribbon is stretchy I pulled it and taped it down, but it came loosed after it set over night, so I will cut it regular size.
I stamped it on Crumb Cake paper with White Craft ink, then colored it with an Aqua Pen and reinkers...Strawberry Slush, Gumball Green, and Crush Curry.
The flower in the right corner was to cover a mistake.
On this one, I put the flower on the ribbon. It's not as bulky and will mail easier.
This one I did in Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant and added a Crumb Cake ribbon bow.
I also added some Dazzling Details to the center of the flowers to add a little pizazz. It doesn't show up here.
I have lost 30lbs so far. It's kind of slow going, but I will keep trying.
Have a lovely week and HS.

i live in a world of dreams......
I dream of posting almost everyday...
I dream of having a wonderful blog and knowing what I am doing...
I dream of making a never ending supply of awesome cards to show..
I dream of sending out cards to everyone I think needs ones....
I dream....the list is too long, but I do dream...
Well time to wake up and get on with the real world.
I didn't realize I have so many cards I haven't taken pictures of or even posted...I do have a special card I made yesterday, but I can't post it yet, but here are some I can.
Here's a card Barbara P made using one of the special ' Best of 25 Years' stamp sets. It's called Brides and Babies (in that order, in case you wondered:0). We will be making a card really similar to this in class this month.
This a card we made in May's class using a fun new (seems new away) technique called, I forgot. Anyway you color in white craft ink and "paint" over it using re inkers and an aqua painter or blender pen. I got this idea from Sandi McIver who got it from someone else.
Well no 4th of July cards to show, but happy Independence Day tomorrow. And a Happy Birthday today to Debbie Heffernan, who turned 29 again;0).
Have a lovely holiday weekend and be safe.
HS till next time,
Wanda

silence is golden unless.....
you have a blog...that you want people to come too often...
I do have at least 8 or 9 cards to share, but only one for today. Plus I will share something very personal with you that you will only know if you read this blog....
First of all most important a card....Barbara P made this and gave it to me... She wants to do this in a class, so does Mom. I am not sure if we will or not because, although it is simple, I can't do much pre preparation before class.. But I am thinking about it...
Isn't it beautiful? It uses a new in colors Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush, and Daffodil Delight. The flowers are embossed in white on card stock Vellum and then sponged or brayered with color.
The stamp set is Secret Garden and the are cut out with the coordinating framelits.
Well now for my personal news... I had surgery last Wed. June 12. I had 3 things done....After much struggle, thoughts, self battles and prayers (although still struggling with self doubt) I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery, at the same time I had a hernia in my esophagus repaired and I also had some scar tissue removed that had grown around the liver from a near death illness I had 7 yrs ago.
So there you have it. I am currently on a strict liquid for 1 month followed by another strict diet for the next two months as things heal.... So you should see less of me each time we meet.
I am also planning on taking some computer training in the near future to learn new skills and hopefully one day know how to really do this blog right:0)
Well classes are this week, in fact one is this morning....
Hope all is well with you and yours. Until next time....
HS,
Wanda

has it really been a whole month.....
since I last blogged? I can't believe it. I really have been stamping, plus being sick, and all the rest of life that I do......
Hi too my two Barbs, Barbara P and Barb B....probably if it wasn't for Barb B telling me she keeps checking my blog, I wouldn't of been motivated to post... sometimes it seems no one is there, but anyway...
I read somewhere where I should just get right to the card and not meander so without further ado...

Actually these are projects I designed with My Digital Studio, MDS for short, for you see I also took an on line class last month too. I knew I needed to learn how to use this. I have had it for over 4 years and never did much with it, so when the opportunity came I thought I should take advantage of it.... AND NOW INSTEAD OF 79.95, MDS IS ONLY 19.95! and it really is fun.....
If you are interested is learning, just let me know.
Well I have to go now, life is calling.....
I will do my best to post more often.
But until then,

Happy Friday...
May 1st was my grand daughter Lea's 2nd birthday. She is also my 2nd and only one of 2 grand daughters that I have out of 8 grand kids...
I was very proud of myself because I actually made her a birthday card....I know, I know you wonder at that statement....I make cards all the time, but never hardly every for my family, even my beloved grand babies...go figure. Well I actually did this time.. It was fast easy and glittery..just like both of my little girls...they both love bling, shine and sparkle...I also bought some recordable cards and sang Happy Birthday on it..she played it over and over several times much to the delight (not) of everyone.
Silver glimmer paper, Pink, Razzleberry, Rhinestones...whooooo..
The next couple of cards are one of the two choices we will be doing for card class this month...What do you think Barb B?
I got the idea for these cards from Mary Fish at 'stampinpretty'. The top one is pretty much an exact copy, the second one I changed the dps and card stock.
Well hope you have a lovely weekend.
I have a very busy weekend and week planned next week with lots and lots of babysitting, don't know if I will get in any stamping at all, horrors...
Well HS till next time,
Wanda

it's only been......
too long since I last posted. Do you want reasons, excuses or for me just to move on?
How about I just move on?
First of all I would like to thank all my faithful and unfaithful blog followers for checking back and reading this post.
Next I would like to welcome my newest reader (that I know of) Barb Berwanger!
HI BARB!
There of a lot of things going on in my world and Stampin' UP's, of course Stampin' UP is a big part of my world (just ask my husband he says my stamping has taking over my house).....
One thing I am currently doing is taking an online class to learn more about the MDS (My Digital Studio) program that Stampin' Up has. I am finally forcing myself to learn it, and I must admit, it's fun and addicting....I really don't think I will ever use it much for cards, but I have lots of ideas for other stuff....
Well there is lots of new stuff going on retiring stamps, colors, accessories..
We also had Christmas card night here Monday night. Here is one of the cards we made....
I will try to take a picture of the other on plus lots more of stuff we have done..
I really need to get started on this months class. I of course have my ideas, now to get them done.
I have homework with my online class to do, plus babysitting, swimming and tomorrow I have a lady that wants to make a scrap book for all of her grand children for their birthday's this year. She has never made one before and is terrified. I hope to show her where to start and how much fun it is...
Here is some of my homework assignments I did with MDS...
Well here is one assignment..for some reason I found this one, but can't find the other ones....I will have to try later.
This is probably a long enough post for today anyway.
Hope you have been well and stamping since I've been gone...
Take care and HS (which means, happy stamping, Barb).
Wanda

Have a Blessed Easter...

i must say i am rather embrassed....
at my video...A stamping coach said don't worry about getting your video prefect just post it...so after several attempts to make it better I just posted it...and I must say it is quite cheesy.....
My grand babies love it so....in fact one of them is coming over today for us to make one with his skunk too (he wanted one for Christmas last year after playing with mine.)...It will of course be cheesy too so we won't post it on here.
I did try 5 times between Friday and Saturday to make a video showing you how to make the quilted star look object in the post on Friday, but kept getting interrupted.. I probably won't get it done today either due to the fact of company, classes and life...but I do have some cards I can show you.....

This is a card we did at Christmas card night last month..The goal is to stamp 10 cards a month so hopefully by Nov. you will have all your Christmas cards made. Of course I never have mine made, but at least all my stamping girls that want to, have theirs done.
I found this card at Sandy McIver's blog and really liked it.
I've been awake since 2 something, up at 3...I have a feeling it's going to be a loooooooooooong day.

Actually I do have another card to share...we will be making these at class next week and I am going to try to have a video on how to make these tomorrow with Stampin' Stinky....you won't want to miss it, I'm sure.....
Have a happy Stampin' day.

the bunny, the bunny, woo i ate the bunny...
the line from a silly song from veggie tales...I don't know it all, so I keep singing the same dumb phrase....especially while making this card....
Don't you just love them? I got the idea from my up line Sharon, who got it from someone else somewhere on line......I did change it up a tiny bit. I used Pool Party card stock for the card base, then embossed it with the new Honey Comb embossing folder. The ears and head are cut out using the new Oval Framelits. For the inside of the ears and nose I used Pink Pirouette and sponged them with Pretty in Pink ink....
We will be making these cards next week too. So come if you can.
Here is some pics of Mom's new 'dog'. Doorbell when to doggie heaven about a month ago. Mom said she didn't want another dog and wasn't going to get one...blah blah blah....well after she saw this one my sister Holly showed her in MO, while visiting there...hummm she changed her mind....just like a woman..
Cute as a button and in some serious need of training.....
Well that's all for today. I need to get back to the 'card mines' as Jan Tink would say.
HS,

I need to get back to the 'card mines' as Jan Tink would say.

no i didn't die or fall off the face of the earth...
but some days you feel like it.
Not getting up early, running most every day to Rachel's to help with sick babies, a workshop, and a dumb computer are my excuses for not posting.....oh yes and a lost camera...
Well I am back with lots of stuff to share, so I'll start now....
This is a card we made at Jenni Longbreak's workshop last Friday night and I am planning on making it for card class next week.
Here are a couple of cards we will also make next week. I think they are so cute.
Well Mom is awake and talking to me and it's hard to concentrate on typing and her talking to me.. but I am glad she is here.
Have a lovely day..
